    Dashboard → Integrations

Integrations is where your app's connections to other services live. Think of them as bridges between Buildy and tools you already use, like Stripe for payments, Slack for messages, or Gmail for email. You will find this section under Advanced in the Dashboard sidebar.

Built-in Buildy capabilities such as AI, sending email, and file uploads work out of the box with no API keys or setup. Third-party connections (for example Stripe for payments) are set up here, or by asking Buildy in chat. Once a tool is connected, your app can talk to it automatically to process an order, send a notification, and more.

    What is inside

    Helpful tips

The top of the screen gives quick ideas of what integrations can do, such as accepting payments. Use it as a starting point when you are not sure which tool you need.

    Active integrations

This list shows every tool you have successfully connected. Open an entry when you need to review or update a connection that is already in place.

    Add Integration

The green Add Integration button is the safest place to start when you want to connect a new tool yourself from this screen.

    How to add an integration

    1. Click the green Add Integration button.
    2. The Add Integrations window opens.
    3. Click a category on the left to filter the list, or use the search bar to find a tool like "Stripe".
    4. Select the tool, click Add Integration, and enter any secrets (API keys) it asks for.

    How it works with chat

You do not have to know which integration to pick. Describe the outcome you want, and Buildy wires up the right connection. When a secret key is needed, Buildy asks for it with a secure input. Never paste API keys into plain chat messages.

    Try asking:

    • Let customers pay with Stripe on my checkout page
    • Send a confirmation email when someone books
    • Notify me on Slack when a new order comes in
    • Connect Gmail so my app can send messages from my address

    Good to know

Pro tip: ask for the outcome, not the setup

Instead of hunting for the right tool first, tell Buildy what customers should be able to do ("let people pay online", "email me when a form is submitted"). Buildy picks the integration, asks for any keys with a secure prompt, and wires the feature. Come back to this screen anytime to confirm the connection is listed under Active Integrations.
