Dashboard → Blog & Content
Blog & Content is where you write, organize, and publish SEO blog posts for your site. It lives in your Dashboard under Grow your business. Built on Buildy's built-in CMS, it gives you categories, featured images, and full SEO controls so every post can rank in Google.
Create Posts
Rich editor for title, slug, excerpt, body, and featured image. Draft first, publish when ready.
Categories
Optional but helpful. Group posts by topic so your Help Center and blog stay tidy.
SEO Built-in
Set exact SEO title and meta description. Posts automatically appear in search and sitemap.
Getting started
Open Blog & Content
In Buildy, go to Dashboard tab → Blog & Content. If you see an Activate or Enable Blog button, click it once. This turns on the CMS for this project.
Create a category (optional)
Click Categories → New Category. Give it a name like Guides, News, or Tips and a slug. Categories help readers browse and help you group related posts.
Write your first post
Click New Post. Add a clear title, write a short excerpt (appears in cards and social shares), then write the body. Drop in a featured image at the top – it shows on your blog index and as the social preview.
Set SEO
In SEO fields, set a search title under 60 characters and a meta description 150-160 characters. Use keywords people actually type, like 'how to price coaching call' not just 'pricing'.
Publish
Hit Publish. Your post now lives at /blog/your-slug and is linked from your site blog route. Unpublish anytime if you need edits.
Ask Buildy to write for you
You do not have to write from scratch. In the Buildy chat, try prompts like:
- Write an SEO blog post about 5 mistakes new coaches make when launching
- Draft a post that compares our pricing to competitors, friendly tone, 800 words
- Turn this transcript into a blog post with H2s and a summary
Buildy will create a draft in Blog & Content. Review, tweak, then Publish. All posts respect your brand voice you set in Marketing & Ads.
Tips that keep you ranking
- One clear topic per post. Google ranks focused answers higher than broad essays.
- Use descriptive headlines with H2 and H3. Break up walls of text.
- Link to other posts and to key pages on your site. Internal links help SEO and keep readers longer.
- Add a featured image that matches the topic. It boosts clicks from social shares.
- Publish regularly. One solid post per week beats five rushed ones once a quarter.
Where posts show
Published posts appear automatically on your website blog page and in your public Help Center if you use categories for KB. They are also added to sitemap.xml so search engines find them. Drafts stay private until you publish.
From chat you can also ask Buildy to add a Recent Posts section to your homepage that pulls latest 3 posts.
