The Sign-in Page section controls how visitors log into your app and who can access it. Buildy handles login for you: no login page to build, and no passwords for you to manage.

What is inside

Login methods

Visitors can sign in with email or their Google account. Both options are built in and secured by Buildy.

You do not build a custom login form. Buildy provides the sign-in flow and keeps it up to date.

App access

Choose who needs to sign in to use your app: leave it open to everyone, or require login. This is where you set whether visitors must sign in before they can use the app.

This section does not list registered users or let you approve members. To protect specific pages, ask Buildy in chat to require login on those routes.

How it works with chat

Ask Buildy to add sign-in anywhere in your app. Buildy wires it up with the built-in login flow. You never get a custom login page to design or maintain.

Gate pages with chat

App access decides whether visitors must sign in to use the app. For specific pages or areas, ask Buildy to require login on those routes after you set access here.

No passwords to store

Buildy owns authentication end to end. You focus on whether login is required and which parts of the app need a signed-in user, not on password resets or login UI.

Pro tip: set access here first, then gate pages

If your app has customer-only content, set app access in Sign-in Page first, then ask Buildy to require login on the right pages (for example, "Make the members area require login"). That order keeps public marketing pages open while private areas stay protected.
